ignition problem

can anyone give me advice
i am doing up my lr3 and i have a problem with the ignition
it starts fine with the key but when i want to turn the engine off with the key the engine is still running can anyone help me

Have you made any aftermarket changes (i.e. added a remote starter) If not... I would say run, don't walk to you nearest dealer and have them check that fast.

If you have added a remote starter, I would check with who ever installed it and ask them if they know what they are doing.
