I installed mud flaps on my LR3 and I noticed that they seemed to not line up properly. The left one seemed to be at a different angle than the right one. I thought that maybe they were bent or something, or maybe I put them on wrong. So I took tham off and I noticed that it was not the mud flaps but the tire. It seemed slightly bowed out. I measured the rear of the LR3 and the right side is 3 Cm taller than the left side. I would never have noticed this if not for the mud flaps. They gave me a lateral line to see the difference in height.
Has anyone seen this? or can give me some insight? 3 CM seems like a big difference in the height of the car.

Old Discos were offset like that to allow for the driver's weight. Maybe they kept it up for the LR3?

Which is the left side? The Driver (US version) side? Might be something with the air suspension, because its auto leveling. It should be level to matter what.

Was the vehicle on level ground? It self levels, so if the ground was tilted left to right, then the there would be a differential in ride height left to right.

I have checked it at a number of different situations, always the same. the right side is higher than the left side.

We're talking a LHD model here right? Right side = passenger side; left side = driver's side? Or the opposite?

I had that problem when I bought my 2004 discovery. I took it to the dealer and the recalibrate my self leveling suspension, and that was it. The problem dissapeared. Hope this helps

Your Lr3 May Have A Leaking Airbag On That Side Or Needs To Be Calibrated At The Dealer. If You Let Your Car Seat For A Few Days Does It Drop More On That Side?
