On several occasions after starting the car I noticed that the radio, windows and electric side view mirrors will not work (there may be more not working but that’s all I noticed). If I shut off the car and start it again everything returns to normal – every time.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas of what could be causing this?

Thanks

I would start with a corrosion/connector check. Under the steering column connections, and fuse blocks for corrosion/connector connectivity.

More than likely a connector under the steering wheel is not connecting cleanly.

Could also be a sign of battery/alternator issues.

I recently installed a new battery and everything checkout (according to Sears). I will check the connectors this weekend. Thanks

Again, I followed Joey's suggestion and cleaned the fuse block that is under the hood behind the battery. My intermittant electrical problems stopped.

97 Disco 91k miles.
