This is probably a long shot, but I am wondering if anyone is using ipod to play video in their LR3? I am wanting to get a rear entertainment system installed, but I am thinking about using ipod video (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB129LL/B?fnode=MTY1NDA0OQ&mco=MTA4MjUwMzk#overview) in lieu of a DVD player. The cable from Apple has A/V cables and a USB cable for power.
I saw this setup on an online and and I really like the idea (though I think I could find more attractive screens):

The screens won't have built-in DVD players, and I don't know that much about car audio/video. I was just wondering if anyone was doing anything similar to what I have in mind, and could maybe give me some details about how it was done. My biggest question is how to power the iPod without running a wire to a USB adaptor in the cigarette lighter. I would like to keep everything contained and hidden... maybe in the upper glove compartment. I will definitely have someone run the wires, but I was thinking about ordering the screens and a source selector box, so I can be sure to get what I want.
