well good news and bad news..
i started to take apart my rear molding in my 2000 disco and low and beyold, the mounting points for the 2000 disco jump seats are present in my non 7 seater..
i was mildly excited until i pulled up the carpet and sure enough the mounting points for the floor latching point where also present..
so it appears that if you have a newer disco there may be a good chance you can add the jump seat options..
so i ran downto the local truck junk yard and i got pretty lucky he had an SE7 2000 disco for parts.. so i snatched up the jump seats and am going to be installing them next week.. the only bad news is, i am going to have to modify my rear molding for the seats, as the SE7's had the different molding (which they didn't have as part of this car)... that and they are grey jump lthr instead of tan (but that is what seat covers are for).. i got them for an ok price of 225$ (and they pulled them)
but its definately better than all the work i was going to have to put into adding the seats..
he forgot to pull the floor latching point, so i have to go back on monday and get that from them.. other than that, well on my way to adding the extra 2 seats..
