hi,
just thought i'd post a small intro in this section.
currently drive a 2005 LR3 (Discovery 3). what a machine!
drove a 2003 Discovery Series II before it. used to love it to death.

my off-roading experience is even less than minimalistic - being limited to driving FWD cars on certain un-tarred roads in India and driving around in the snow in upstate New York - pretty sad case, mine.

my introduction to Land Rover, was in early 2003 and am definitely planning on an adventure trip where there is no concrete or tar below my wheels.

currently live in New York, so that sort-of limits the off-roading thing (Manhattan roads are a good substitute though).

hope to learn a lot from you gurus here and make some good Land Rover buddies!

Welcome to the site, I am sure that someone in the NY area would gladly help you get you Rover muddy. If nothing else, ask you local LR dealer when their next off roading adventure is going to be...

Remember take a camera and a FRS radio and the very least.

And never go off roading alone (take another vehicle) so you can either help them or they can help you.
