Key Fob Battery

I am sorry to ask yet another dsaft question chaps and chapesses, but what it the correct battery for the key fob? Slight panic the other day when the imobliser imoblised and refused to let me start the beast , I had to take the fob apart and fiddle with the battery I think it might need replacing. If I replace the battery do I need to reprograme the fob.
