Not a huge problem, wondering if it is unique to my LR3. More than occasionally, the key won't turn all the way to the 'take it out' position. I have to do a sort of double turn to get it there so that I can take it out. Is it just mine?

Also, has anyone ever noticed the little pinpoint of light that comes from just in front of the overhead map lights? You really can only see it if you put your hand up there underneath it (while the headlights are on) I think it must be to provide a little glow to the gearshift console at night. Kind of a cool extra touch...

Yes, the red light is "waterfall" lighting. Our Audi has it, too.

Yes we do...... at least on mine  not sure if that comes with one of the options or not? Count me in on the key problem :frown:

Yes, there are lights on the bottom of doors on all LR3s in North America I've seen. Other markets may have lights under the mirrors, too.

Hmmmm....double checked. No puddle lamps on my 2005 SE. Don't you have an SE too Grommet?

I find it funny that with more testing than any other car has ever had, on 6 continents, that none of the testers ever tried taking the key out. LOL

I'm HSE... it's probably one of these features nobody would notice is missing. I know I didn't implicitly look for it on all the LR3s I've encoutered, so I may not have noticed it missing. I tend not to crawl under the door while it's open. :)
