Hi, I have a 1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE, It has developed a small leak from the front differential. I know I need to get that part resealed, but how dangerous is to run the car with that leak? The leak is not with high pressure but it is constant and recently I have been checking constantly the oil level in that part.
What could be the implications if by accident it ran out of differential oil?

If you ran out of diff oil, it would burn up the diff. Not a good thing. Almost the same as running the engine without oil... it might survive, but the odds are not good.
