LR Logo Delaminating?

Okay, I don't know if this is delaminating, but it started with my "L" and has now worked its way through all the letters. I only use standard car wash, a little Bug-B-Gone on occasion, and avoid getting any wax or polish on the logo.

Does anyone know what causes this?
Think the warranty would cover it? (I'm at 42K)

(I know, its time for a little more bug b gone!

I hate to say it, but it may be the bug b gone that is eating the letters.

That was my first thought, but I read the label and its pretty mild sounding stuff....safe on everything, no warnings about not applying on any kind of finish, water soluable, etc. etc. The stuff doesn't even have a scent!

The website even mentions you can clean your entire vehicle with it, so I'm guessing it shouldn't cause my problem;

Ironically enough, I had the exact same thing happen to mine. When I had my truck in at the dealer, I showed this to my service advisor who said that he doubted if the warranty would cover it, but he'd show it to the service manager anyway. Fortunately for me, only the "Land" was delaminating, not the "Rover" so that would indicate some sort of defect rather than me driving behind gravel trucks. The service manager looked at it and agreed it was a defect and had it replaced under the warranty. Good as new now and no problems since (been about 4 months).

I know my delamination wasn't caused by any kind of chemical because I never washed it!

Have the dealer take a look at it
