I know there are a dozen high quality waxes or polishes that we could all recommend here. I use Finish First as I find it goes on and off easily and leaves a nice shine. Anyway, when I ordered my last can of the stuff they sent me a free sample of their Car Wash which I just ordered.

I have to say, this is the first car wash I have used that actually works differently than others. They all have a lot of incredible claims on the containers, but I was happy with this stuff and figured I'd pass on the link. It does leave a nice shine and leaves some sort of coating on the body/windows that has water beading up when I know I'm at the tail end of my last coat of polish. I can't comment on their bug cleaning claim below (I use BugsBeGone for that) but the car wash part works as advertised.

Here is the link and info.

Wash and Conditioner
FINISH FIRST WASH AND CONDITIONER is a concentrated ph balanced paint shampoo that is formulated to polish and enhance gloss as it cleans. A synthetic, non-detergent formula that minimizes water-spotting while washing, even in direct sunlight. It produces great soap bubbles and will not leave the normal white film that dulls the painted surfaces.

FINISH FIRST WASH AND CONDITIONER removes dirt, road film, oil, tar, bugs, etc., and leaves a polished look between washes. The gentle foam action removes surface residue by using emulsifying cleaners. This shampoo will not burn paint or strip away protection and gloss.

On a semi related note, I happened upon an old building this weekend that was a nice excuse to take a picture of the rover. Not freshly washed, by the way...

Yes it does, Todd! Very nice. I'm happy with the way mine looks after 3 years of using it as it should be used. I attribute a lot of that to Zaino products. It does a great job keeping the paint looking good, even though I have some scuffs from brush and branches growing along narrow trails. It's pretty amazing; when you get close (within a foot) you can see many of these scuffs (in the clearcoat) and then you straighten up and take one step back and the car looks like it could be new on the lot.
