Don't have one on my truck, but if you go to www.ownerinfo.landrover.com and go to
accessorie fittment (#2 all the way at the bottom). You will find the same instructions
that would come with the kit. There is a small amount of drilling involved. Good luck.

I have one, I like it. You need to drill three small holes, two of which are in the sheet metal below the air intake. The other is on the black trim of the a-pillar. It's not a hard install, but you need to be comfortable drilling into a $45k vehicle....

Nathan, did you opt for the LR oem snorkel or the Safari Snorkel?

I have the LandRover KIT raised air intake. I stumbled upon a good deal on one and jumped on it.

It didn't happen to be online by chance? Is the seal on the LR one water tight or resistant? I noticed on pics of Adam's RRS he appeard to have tape aroudn the housing for his LR Snorkel during some wading?

No, I actually got it through a friend of a friend sort of thing. There were a few extra and I got one.

They are not true snorkles like the Safari unit through ARB. They are raised air intakes. The filter box itself has weep holes in it, and the connection to it through the fender is tight, but not totally waterproof. The plastic housing has also vent slots down low I think. (I can't remember as I sit here and type). The tape that Adam put on was a precaution because the water was deep and we weren't going for bow waves...more like tsunami's :)

Thanks Nathan love the pics! Do you know if the ARB Snorkel would void the warranty? I assume the LR does not?

Modifications/additions to your vehicle can not void a vehicle warranty claim, unless it can be proven that it caused a specific failure you are trying to get fixed.
