Has anyone had an error code with the up down switch on the transmission? My 2006 LR3 just started to have trouble going from a stop to shifting in gear. The RPMs shoot up and then after a few seconds it decides to shift into gear. doesn't happen everytime though and it seems to be getting better.
Had a transmission fault on the dash show up so I took to my local shop to take a look at the code. He made a copy of the data and printed it out for me and it seemed to be all fixed when I left. No charge, great shop. The computer read; component data - P0826 Up and down shift switch circuit. No codes present.
He told me to drive it around a bit to see if it starts up again. It happening just enough to be worry about it. I was wondering if a small rock or something got stuck in my shift console. wishful thinking I think.
