LR3 Tailgate problem

Has anyone have the tailgate lock up on them? I cannot open it at all? Any suggestions would be helpfull

Prise the rubber switch cover off and try to 'manual' operate the switch. Sometimes they rust. Failing that, hold the lock/unliock buttons together on the dashboard and the should release the boot lid.
