What does everyone use for the trailer wiring?

I saw the Atlantic British solution

I just wanted to hear all my options.

Thank you.

The factory wire harness isn't too tough to install. What is the Atlantic British option?

I am not sure if this is just the OEM option sold through them.

Well, I like those guys, but that is clearly a pic of the factory wiring harness... and there is no way they could sell the oem harness for that price.

These trucks are so electronically fussy, I don't think I would save a few bucks and mess with an aftermarket harness.

Their bolt on hitch is a nice option, if you are willing to leave the hitch on all the time.

The description says it is not a genuine LR part but rather "OE-spec".

It looks like you can get the genuine LR part (VPLAT0013) on ebay for $157
+ $9 shipping from "fmimports" (I believe they are the Ft Myers LR dealer, but I do not know for sure).

I had the factory kit on my LR3 and bought the Atlantic British kit for my LR4 and it is just as nice as the factory option and is actually easier to install as it separates differently than the LR one.

The dealer still has to activate the tow assist if you want those features.
