Before anyone tells me to RTFM, I've been there done that.

Now, for the question.

Is there anyway to over-ride the rain sensing wipers so that I control the delay speed. It doesn't seem to matter where the little dial is when i'm in rain sensing mode. it always does its own thing..

If my memory is correct the manual does say the service dept can make a switch from auto to manual. However, I've asked for this to be done more than once and dealer states it is not possible. The manual is incorrect as far as I know.

Living in Seattle, would much rather have manual control. I've gotten use to it though. Doesn't bother me as much as it use to.
