Sorry to bump an old thread but is there a trick to get the PY24W turn signal out? Trying to replace one of mine and not sure if the base twists...

If I recall correctly, (and its too cold out to confirm) there is a tab to depress, then rotate.

In case anyone with a 2014+ stumbles across this thread, can confirm the PY24W turn signal bulbs in the facelift housing are removed by depressing the tabs at the top and bottom, and pulling straight back (no twisting required).

I actually ended up upgrading to LED bulbs which were a huge improvement in response time and brightness (will create a new thread with comparisons...)
