Here is a quick update. We spoke to the owner of Borla and they didnt have the LR3 in their current plans. We made him aware of this post and he said that he would call us if they changed their minds. Unfortunately I get the feeling that there isnt much demand for an exhaust for our loved LR3. Since I work in the aftermarket automotive industry I will keep my feelers out as to any potential companies that might be interested in coming out with an LR3 exhaust.

I will keep everyone posted. It might help if we knew how many members here that were actually interested.

at least bad news is better than waiting and wondering. thanks for the update. what do you do in the industry? i may have to get some borla mufflers and get out the welder.

I'm the inside sales manager for a company called Turbonetics (www.turboneticsinc.com). We are located in Simi Valley. Dont give up hope yet. I'm going to make some calls within the next few days and I'll let you know what I come up with. I may have some other options.

If we had a poll going here on this site showing howing many people would be actually interested in a aftermarket exhaust would speak volumes to these guys. Well thats my 2 cents. If you have any other ideas as to how we could gauge interest please let me know.

"a company called turbonetics" i laughed a little bit. dont be so modest, turbonetics rocks. my hats off, my old shop would occasionally send out customer turbos for rebuilding. you guys also helped us time and time again for our turbo retrofit projects, grand nationals, and some garret frankenstein setups. more than anything we used to buy your oil from keystone by the case. we could not keep that stuff around. great company.

Lol I just try to keep things on the DL  because the average person have no idea who Turbonetics is. I'm glad that you have had some positive experiences with us. If you ever need any help feel free to hit me up.

Hi Guys,

Not sure how many of you peruse the other forums on the site, but I saw this come in today and wanted to make sure someone from the LR3 crowd jumped on it:

http://forums.landroverworld.org/showthread.php?t=12990

Great opportunity for a free exhaust from MagnaFlow, and you will help out your fellow LR3 owners too!

I replied, lets see what happens. The funny thing is that I emailed them over a month ago about this.
