I am looking for the model - types of the audio and Nav Tv Unit (Alpine ?) in my 2009 RRS TDV8 with premium ice pack (Factory tv, rear entertainment system, rear 6 dvd changer ).
I would like to install a rear view and front view cam, usb stick on the audio unit operated from OEM touch screen monitor.
If anyone has any information that they think that could help, it would be much apprecited.
Also if there any available upgrades ....

Does anyone know why i cant change channels or presets from the steering wheel buttons (i have installed a tv on the move adaptor OLR2 ) ?

hi mate, my name is Bill too. I am from Sydney Australia. I purchased NEW RRS 05/09 last week. I will take delivery of car next month. It comes with factory fitted SATNAV+BT, but no TV tuner. I want to get the TV Tuner installed. The dealer told me that if you dont get it from the factory then it is too late. I assume I can buy the module and plug it in behind the SATNAV...right? Do you know anything about this?

Gamoto me gamisane me afto to TV...I am greek if you noticed...

geia sou ellina !

i Think it is possible to instal an analogue/digital tv tuner on your OEM unit but you must discuss this with the technical staff of your dealership regarding on finding a compatible module to adapt on your equipment.
Most important is to find out from the dealership ( technical staff ) what type / model (alpine ?) is installed on your RRS.

In regard to the USB adaptor etc. i have ordered the USb and ipod adaptor which could be interfaced with your audio system and could also be selected and operated from the aux button (on the front panel of the audio system).

You might want to take a look at this site, you might find something interesting

I hope this information was helpful.
Nice to meet you Bill
