I originally purchased the 1996 Disco to tow my boat (traded my F150 in for a Toyota Camry - fuel's too much!). But these forums have exposed me to the world of off-roading. I'm definitely a noob, but it's something that looks fun and I'm going to give it a shot.
My other project is my backyard. Basically I'm going to try to turn my backyard from the desert dirt that it is right now to something that's actually nice to hang out in. Fruit trees, veggie/herb garden...and, of course, the most awesome grill setup ever.
Two projects to eat up my time and money....great...
