Hello, all, I'm Ken, and the second-owner of a 1996 Discovery.
I originally purchased the Disco to tow my boat. I used to have a F150 which was my daily driver, but I traded that in for a Toyota Camry and the Disco.
The local shop told me the previous owner had taken outstanding care of the vehicle. That being said, it still needs a bit of TLC.
So far, some basic mechanical stuff has been fixed, and once that's done, a new paintjob (the Arizona sun will tear up your paint fast).
I'm new to the world of off-roading. In fact, I've never truly off-roaded. And now, I'm super excited about getting into it.
After the paintjob, I'll get some sliders, and then I'll go from there.
Other than that, my other project is my backyard. I just started a blog two days ago - mybackyardoasis.blogspot.com
Perhaps I'll start one on my Disco, too.
