Hello everyone, new to the forum although I was lurking for a while trying to decide on a purchase. Just picked up a used 2008 LR3 SE with about 31,000 miles. Thanks to all the previous posters for the helpful insight I was able to get.
Still learning all the gadgets and electronics so I am sure I will be active in the forum. Any tips on things to check, adjustments to make, etc. would be helpful. The dealer performed a 140 point inspection and the 30,000 mile service at their sister dealership which is a LR dealer so I think I am up to speed on the latest software and service requirements for now. I have about 6 months left on the manufacturer warranty and am looking in to extended warranties, leaning toward the Ford ESP Premium Care plan due to price and the coverage provided (seems to be about $1200 less than the LR warranty offered by the dealer although it has a $100 deductible). Any thoughts there as well would be appreciated. I am limited in car knowledge so want to be sure I am covered for any issues that may occur. Looking forward to spending time in the forums and especially with the LR3.
