New owner, New to forums!

Hello Everyone, My names Steve and i just purchased a 2006 LR3 SE V8. I had my heart set on one for quite some time but was just waiting for the right one to come along! I found it!! Low miles, Equiped how i wanted it and the color i was looking for
37,100 miles
the few options i wanted it has, Sirius radio, Bluetooth, Third row seats, no NAV or DVD, Xenon Headlights with Fog Lamps.
Siver in color ( i know this color has to have a way cooler name than silver lol) and Black interior.
So far, three days old, i LOVE it. It is everything i have ever wanted. Prior to my LR i drove a 03 Chevy silverado with 6 inches of lift and 35's, i must say it is a huge change to the LR but for the much much better. Im 27 yrs old and live in NC.

I dont really have any complaints yet, except why can i not see the song that is playing on my Sirius? all i ever see is the channel and category. Im used to my chevy where i could see my songs darnit!

The only other questions i have is how would i know if it needs any software updates or anything? just visit the dealer? I want to make sure it has all the recommended services it needs and any recall's have been fixed.

Im just trying to figure out why anyone would ever sell one of these amazing rides. I love the on road feel but absolutely cannot wait to get this thing on the trails!

Welcome Steve to the forum's! I am fairly new to this great forum as well! I just purchased a 2007 CPO'd LR3 and am really enjoying it!

This forums is full of wonderful folks and information! You can go to your local land Rover dealer and ask them to perform a search on your VIN and see if they can identify what TSB's have been performed. Just for reference Edmund's website has all the TSB's listed. Lastly, here is a list I found a couple month's back from another post.

Welcome to forum Steve. Other than the "Zermatt Silver", your LR sounds like its very similarly equipped to mine. I had Sirius for the first few months (courtesy of the previous owner) and also found the display annoying. I think if you press one of the stereo buttons, maybe press the right knob, it will temp display the song title. I agree this should be the default. I didnt care to see category. I was also not impressed with the reception and audio quality, so I did not renew. I find that slacker radio on my iphone works much better.

Yes, any LR dealer can look up the vehicle history.

And lastly, right click on the flicker pic and select "copy image url". Then in past it your forum posting. put "[ I M G ]" and a "[ / I M G ]" (with out the spaces) around the url and viola:
