I’ve got the Wilco offroad hitch carrier and like it for what it is. I don’t want a full time swing out carrier (got tired of the extra step on my Jeep). I don’t have issues with the departure angle as I know my limits. It’s nice to have a full size spare I don’t have to crawl under to get or pull down from a roof rack. I keep it on a dolly cart so I can just slide it onto the hitch when I’m headed out, and pull it off when I get home and the rover looks stock again.
