Planning on building one like the Adventure Trailers Teardrop. There is a guy on Expo Portal that is building his own. Looks like a lot of work, but very worth it.

I'd do the hitch mod just to avoid scaping the apron of my driveway everytime I pull my boat trailer over it. The LR stock hitch just does not have enough clearance.

The last time I was at the dealer the parts guy was telling me that they redesigned the quickrelease hitch assembly. I guess the bumper is identical but the the reciever no longer hangs down as far so you could use the new style hitch on the lr3!!! (Suppose to be half of the drop)

I don't know how true this is since I didn't see the new one....
