newbie hi, my 2000 disco wont start please help

after parking at a store last night it wouldnt start,turns fine but no fire.
after while of checking fueses and hitting the emerg-shut off switch it started and drove about 1 mile and then died.waited 30 mins and it started again but after about a mile or 2 it died again so i had it towed home. now it wont start at all.(seams like its not getting fuel) i would be grateful for any help thanks

ok it was the inertia switch, bypassed it and it starts and runs fine,question.
is there a problem with driving it without the switch besides not having an em shut off switch?

No real issues that I know of. Sorry I could help... I was out of town this weekend looking for a new home.
