Hey everyone,

I am in the market for some winter tires and i've been hearing a lot about the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R. It seems to get stellar reviews online, and i guess they are pretty reasonable for the size i need which is 255/55R19. It's pretty tough to find snow tires in that size...so its nice that a company finally took some initiative.

Anyway, i was just wondering if anyone had an experience with driving on the Nokians? Wasn't sure how they would hold up on a heavy RR vehicle.

This is somewhat time-sensative because the "ChristmasJuly" coupon they have right now expires at the end of August and id like to take advantage of the $40 off per set and free shipping on all Nokians.

Thanks!

Nokian Tires

I have used Nokian Haq.Q on a 94 County (80x16) for a few years, also on Jeep Cherokee.
They have worked quite well. Only draw back is they are directional tires, limiting tire rotation to front to back, back to front. The tires are ice rated, and have nice siping.

Nokian

I have used nokian on my BMW and Range Rover Hse and RRsport. In my opinion they are as good as you can get. Others like the blizzaks but I have had no wear issues, etc. just be aware that they are more noisy than your summer tires.
