The injectors are very noisy on these cars. I’m not too worried abt my chain as of now, I only have 120k on the car. As of now the only things I have on my mind for the future are spark plugs, (been due since 105,000) and a future decarb.

LOL then you really shouldn't have bought a Rover. I kid but if/when it craps out Muphy's law will ensure it will be on a trip and full of people.
i am probably cursing myself but i take long trips with people about every month or so and 3 years in, so far so good!

If it makes you feel any better, I did plugs at ~120k and I'm pretty sure they were original. Amazingly, they looked fine and there was absolutely zero difference with new ones installed. Be careful if buying aftermarket, there are a lot of counterfeit NGK plugs on the market, buy from a reputable vendor (preferably dealership) and don't buy based on price. Not a fun job, btw.

I think regular nice long trips are just what the doctor ordered for our engines. I'm making the round trip to Annapolis a few times a week now and the LR4 just purrs along...

Yeah I wouldn't stress over it. Mine sounds the same and preemptively had 100k service done. Indy didn't raise any concerns other than giving the truck a tune-up and news breaks/rotors all around.

Sounds exactly my 2011. I’ve got 88k on the clock. Runs strong, so I’m going to keep packing on miles and enjoy.
