This has been discussed numerous times in forums but I've yet to see a diagram showing the locations of the 4 02 Sensors and their designation #. Bank 1 O1#1 & O2 #2, Bank 2 O2 #1 & O2 #2.
I ask/need because the dealer years said back said they bent the plug on a sensor by mistake and fixed it..... Well for two years I get a random/intermittent O2 sensor failure Bank 1 Sensor 1 but it's always ok by the time I go to check the sensors and they all work.... It's a wiring/plug issue and would just like to replace the wiring for that one sensor.
I really would just like a link or post of the locations of the four O2 sensors.
Is Bank 1 the right or left facing the engine bay on the 4.4 BMW motor.
Is O1 in the header section or at the Catalytic Converter?
