Has anyone taken there landrover to a Valvoline or Jiffy Lube to get there oil changed, if so what have they charged. Is it safe to take it to one of those establishments. I don't feel like coughing up $150.00 at the dealership, for an oil change.

I'd rather do it myself than trust an unknown quickie place. But I'd rather do either before paying $150.00

Ive used the same Firestone service center near my home for a few years now for my other autos. They have serviced my jeeps, XTerra, Subaru, Saab, Mini, and a VW.
They just did the Lifetime alignment on the LR3 for me, but I am still using the dealership for the free scheduled service period. Once it is over, I am confident that the Firestone service center can take care of the oil as well for me. Unfortunately, I have a condo...and Auto repair or service work is a big NO NO on the property.
