Just posting here for the next guy since there wasn't much LR-specific info for this engine code on the interwebs or in the shop manual. The entire error as read by the IIDTool was "P0056-00 (AA) Heater oxygen sensor heater control circuit (bank 2, sensor 2).
Bank 2 is the left hand side when seated in the vehicle. For my NA spec vehicle, this is the driver's side.
Sensor 2 is post-cat or downstream.
Replaced the sensor with Denso 2344266, cleared the fault, and it hasn't come back.

A few notes:
- offset oxygen sensor socket w/ 3/8 breaker bar wasn't good for removing but needed for install
- much better leverage with a long handled 22mm wrench
- there's a bracket on top of the cross member that holds the connection to the harness. remove the bracket with an 8mm wrench to get access to the connection. needle nose pliers helped wiggle the connection free
- oh yeah, let the car cool down
- Torque to 33 ft lbs but you may have to adapt the value based on the orientation of the offset socket (lots of sources on the internet for how to calculate values when using adapters)
