Question on Error Codes

I have a 97 Disco. Do I have one of those code readers under the passenger seat?

No Paul. OBD2 reader will do the trick look under the dash driver side you will see the plug in for it. Run up to AutoZone and they will read the codes for free. HTH

No. You have OBD-II, which requires a reader to plug into the port under the steering column.

D1s through 1995 have the code display.

Doesn't look like it, Mel...but if you still have it in the spring and I need one I'll let you know....


So far it's not sticking -- looks like chiseling the rust off the pistons had a good effect.
