radiator plug

can anyone tell me the specific size of the fill plug on top of the radiator of a a 97 disco I.

the replacement part is cheap online, but i dont want to buy that cheap plastic one again....id rather go to lowes.

I Don't recall off the top of my head, but I know I bought a brass one online somewhere years ago....

1/2" BSPP. If you can't find one, let me know, I have them for $15 shipped.

I used a 1/2 inch plug from the hardware store for mine. It was out of necessity, I was on the road in Colorado. But it has worked perfectly. Cost like $2.00.
