Hello fellow Rovers,:hello:

I'm new to the forum & I own a 2004 Range Rover HSE w/ 62,000 miles.
The question I have is that can anyone tell me if they have experianced their radio volume unexpectedly going up for a short second? Thanks in advance.

I have a LR Disco2, 2000. Presently, I am having lot's of problems, but will start with the radio. Radio started to fail little by little. First, Radio wouldn't turn on or off by actioning the butons on the radio, but would work with the steering wheel buttons. It went back and forth buttons radio/butons wheel several times but never knowing which one would work next. Then it stopped working alltogather. Sent the radio to the dealer to be fixed, and it worked for a few days and went off again completely. I didn't sent the radio to be fixed, but I pulled it off and tested for continuity and there was none, which tells me that some place in the circuit there is a short. Before I start testing other circuits I would like to know if there is some one out there with this experience that has been able to fix the problem. Please let me know *** you accomplished it? All fuses are working OK.

My second problem is with the power door locks. I have seen in previous replys tat others have the same problem, and also seen some answers such as that the actuator might be at fault, or that there might be a short some place. However, I havent seen a follow up as to if the problem was fixed by taking the car to a dealer or if the owner of the car fixed the [problem. If you are one of those that fixed it by yourself, please let me know how ou did it? Thanks.

By now you might be saying wahy not to get rid of the LR? Well, its paid for and need to keep it running, so here is another problem. The service engine light started to blink "AGAIN" and the code PO 304 which has to do with #4 cylinder missfiring came on last week. The causes could be: Spark plugs or wires, the coil, the fuel injector or a likage in the cylinder or valve. I have made a mechanic appointment for next week, but I noticed that all of the suden the light went off and has stayed off for a day. Any idea what could be happening, and what would you do?
