Really Stupid Question - Time required to reach operating temperature (V6)?

Daughter in Rochester, NY finally had some time to spend with the 2016.

At 26F,

Idle 10 minutes - dash indicated dead cold.
Hold at 2K RPM for 7-8 minutes - at normal operating temp

Recalibrated her expectations on how long it should take to warm up!
