I had an oil change this weekend on my 1996 disco and the person that did the oil change also voluntarily checked the oil in the rear axl. Does anyone know anything about checking this oil level?? they said that they removed a nut and that the oil level was good; however there was some oil that excaped when he removed the nut?? You can see the nut when you look under the truck from the rear and the oil that excaped. Should I be worried about this loss of oil?? I'm not too sure those guys really knew what they were doing. Thanks.

If they removed the top "nut" while on level ground or lift, then they did it correctly. If the removed the bottom one, then they had no clue what they were doing.
