so I bought a 1997 discovery 1 (used) recently and when I bought it it only came with one remote unlock clicker. Recently my clicker's battery died and I was unable to unlock the vehicle using the clicker. I unlocked it by sticking the key in the door (which caused the alarm to go off)but when I got in the everything worked but the radio and the engine, I typed the security code into the radio and that started working but the engine immobilizer was still on and would no turn off until I replaced the battery in the clicker.
I replaced the battery in the clicker but i still need to know where I can buy a new clicker (online) and how I can program it myself. my nearest rover dealership is six hours away so I can not take it to a dealer anytime soon. If i can't buy and program a clicker myself is there any way I can get this immobilizer disabled. I am not worried about the security system and I do not think I need a security system where i live as long as I can still lock the vehicle.
Any replies are appreciated thank you.

I am so sorry I didn't get back to you on the remote... contact Nathan in my signature he has my remote that worked when I parked my Rover out back so he could part it out. (frame rot and engine sucking oil). Let him know I said for you to contact him. He will take care of you.
