I've been having this knocking noise in my car when i turn to the right sharply around corners and such. I took it to the dealer and they said my front bearings need to be repacked and gave me an estimate of like 2000. I called around and lots of other places will repack them for 200-300 but i called another Land Rover dealer and they said the bearings are sealed and you have to replace the whole hub. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Can anyone tell me what to do or how much i should expect to pay?

Sounds like you have an incompetent dealer, hate it when that happens. The bearings are indeed sealed so you would have to replace the hub, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that before. Are you sure it isn't the control arm bushings, steering rod bushings, or maybe even a leaky cv joint?

Sounds like bushings to me. I believe there was also a TSB regarding the steering linkage. Could be that as well.

According to my dealer the hubs are sealed. Could be a ball joint

The wheel bearings are sealed. The whole unit needs to be replaced. Cost me around $600 for one side. When the driver's side bearing went I heard a metallic screeching at highway speeds. If you have even been to Chicago it sounds exactly like the EL passing. Also, when the truck was on the lift the front wheel had a lateral play of about 1/2". I hate "sealed" components.
