anyone looking to take a stab at a retrofit rear, there is a good deal on fleabay. I would assume the buyer would be someone with an HD package that is out of warranty.

Here is the link

I wonder if you could just use an air locker and control it yourself.....

Nope, because it's a variable engagment contraption, not just an on/off like an air locker. You could install it and connect it to a on/off switch, but you'd have to have someone program an IC chip with all the right parameters to get it to work.

I explored this a while back. It got expensive real quick and I let that dream go....

so how about just using an aftermarket limited slip or maybe someday an ARB locker? Not connected to any electronics, just the old switch/air method.

Someday.... it'd be great if ARB made something for this.
