HI. I am new to the forum. I tried to search the archive on this subject but couldn't find any.
Sorry If this has been discussed before.
Question: Is it possible/feasable to retrofit factory rear entertaintment system (6 Disc DVD changer in the back not the roof mounted type)?
Has anyone tried?
I think I can get used parts for not much. Plus DVD changer apears to be Alpine DHA-S680. I can get Alpine one for couple hundreds or used Land Rover OEM version for under $500. Control switches and aux/video input panel can be bought for another couple hundres.
My main concern is will head unit recognize the dvd player or is head unit different on cars factory equipped with a rear entertaintment system?
Where is a good place to obtain (purchase, borrow etc) wiring diagram and factory workshop manual for 2010 LR4?
What are recommended used Land Rover parts specialists?
