Hi all,

2006 LR3 HSE V8 here.

When coming to a stop while in gear, the RPM's drop to around 500 or so then work their way back to normal range with a little hesitation.

I've done some Google'ing and have read IAC or throttle body needs cleaning / replacement.

However, when I put the vehicle into Neutral right before coming to a stop, I don't have this problem.

Is this transmission related? Possibly in need of a tranny flush? Vehicle has just hit 100k miles. I purchased it 10k miles ago so it's possible it hasn't been done in a while.

Cheers!

I would flush your tranny anyway since it's at 100k Miles; however, I think the rough idle may have more to do with a MAF Sensor or (dirty) throttle body or even your thermostat.
