- 05.22.15 Mileage 101,274 Christmas Tree Faults. Dealer found corrosion in transfer case module. Replaced transfer case module. Found water in passenger floor, replaced wiper cowling and installed A pillar kit. $767.35 for parts, labor, tax etc.

- 05.01.15 Mileage 100,747 Christmas Tree Faults. Dealer found chaffed wire shorting on the frame in rear. Repaired wiring. Installed sleeve over harness and secured. $276.82 for parts, labor, tax etc.

- 02.20.15 Mileage 96,464 Christmas Tree Faults. Dealer replaced brake lamp switch. No Charge due to faulty part.

- 02.16.15 Mileage 96,004 Christmas Tree Faults. Dealer replaced brake lamp switch. $269.15 for parts, diagnostic and tax etc.

A few questions for my own preventative plan:
-where is the transfer case module? is it's failure related to the rather cheap and simple new windshield cowl? I could that myself and source the part cheaper than dealer online.

-"wiring short on rear frame" - where exactly? Sounds like a MUST prevention item.

-brake lamp switch- is this common I wonder?
