Rover HSE only starts with a jump

I have a 2006 Range Rover HSE. yesterday, my batter died (or so it appeared). I got a jump, and it started right up. I let it run for several minutes, drove home and let it run for 1/2 hour. when I turned it off, it wouldn't start. Jumped again and it started. Relatively new battery. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. Relatively new battery as in how new? Any lights on the dash? It is either a bad battery or a bad Alternator. I will bet on the battery.
