Rust

My 97 D-90 is begining to get some pin head size rust holes underneath the driver' gas pedal in that weld spot. Any ideas how best to address this situation?

If you can get to it with a wire brush, give it a good scrub and then paint it with a little fish oil. This should solve further rust at this point. Also check where moisture might be coming from to cause this to occur.

Also look into some Navy Jelly (rust converter) it does wonders, then paint.
