the winter season reacked havoc on my paint and wheels. i wash my rover as much as possible, but this weekend i gave it a pretty good overhaul and it showed some pretty good wear. i agree that a rover deserves some good dings and dents here and there, but only if you have a good story to go behind them. not from the crappy salt and cinders left from the snow.

i have some great wax to help clean up my paint. but i was wondering what you all are using on the headlights to clean them without scratching too bad, and what you are all using on your wheels to get the grime off. the brakes are no help with all the dust they throw off. just looking for ideas and products that work for you.

I related question; are there steel wheels available for the LR3 so that my aluminum rims don't have to be abused? I would like to have a dedicated set of winter tires and wheels.

thanks for the info. i have the clear headlamp film from british pac. I got it as a christmas present but have yet to install it. im gonna give that cleaner a shot and then try the film out. the rest of the lr will get the treatment from meguires. I dont know yet about the rims. im gonna take them off and try to polish them out with a mild cutter and buff wheel.
