Here's the general idea:
This is intended primarily for modern Rovers, with beginner to intermediate experience levels in off roading.
Oct 26, 27, 28
Fri Night, Saturday, Sunday [lodging Fri/Sat only]
We're looking at several small B&B's right now and will choose a fitting location once we get a handle on the number of people going. The idea is that everyone stays in the same hotel, but will pay for it on their own, though we are hoping for a group rate.
Limit of 10 trucks as this trip will include a Dipped in Green training. This trip is aimed at beginner/intermediate drivers, who have not had much off road experience with their Land Rovers. If the idea of leaving the mall parking lot and going into the dirt makes you nervous, you may want to pass. If you are up for an adventure, we'll get you competent after the first trail and with lots of ongoing training on each subsequent trail.
Trails:
Fri- none/Dinner, trail review, introduction to driving
Sat- Van Deren Cabin [Moderate] , Greasy Spoon [Difficult for other brands]
Sun- Soldier Pass [Difficult for other brands], Broken Arrow [Difficult for other brands]
