After replacing my shocks the truck sits a little higher than before. The old shocks were file but I went with Gas Charged Shocks. No Spring changes were done.

Will the Shocks eventually settle a bit to return my car to the previous Ride height?

Thanks in Advance for answers (Especially with specific referances).

Normally a gas charged shock will hold the vehicle up better. It will also make the ride feel a little stiffer. If you bought good shocks, then this will not go away, but IMHO this is a good thing.

Quick question...Which brand of shocks did you decided to select for your truck? I'm looking at getting new ones for my 2000 Series II, and need some input...Thanks!!!

Hi

Speaking of shocks, I need two new shocks in rear...Found KYB for 57.17 a piece. The description says with ACE and without so I hope that "with" works.

Anyone have these? I have a 99 Disco II with ACE. Also I want to have someone put them in so if I buy these aftermarket with a tire/brake joint actually install these?

Thanks for the input.

Shouldn't matter where you buy them, they should install them.... shocks are about 10 minutes top per side in the rear.
