Shop in Raleigh-Durham or Charlotte NC area

Just bought a 139k LR4 and want to proactively get the timing guide/tensioner work done and coolant/crossover also.

I know about Discovery Automotive and British 4x4, but has anyone in the area of the Triangle or Charlotte have feedback on either of these or other recommended shops in Triangle or Charlotte area?

From Charlotte. Several shops, most go to Performance Rover or the dealership Hendrick Land Rover. Also Import Clinic on Monroe.
Performance and Dealer are similar in costs, $8-9,000 for timing and $5,000 for coolant system update.

British 4x4 in Durham is solid though they stay pretty busy.

performance rovers in indian trail...pricey but very good. You may also check with brake and alignment in NE charlotte; they have a god amount of experience with the LR3s and 4s.

Just had my new to me LR4 into EuroMotors in Raleigh.

Discovery told me they don’t do timing chains any more as the job is too big.

Let's compare notes. I was deciding between Performance Rover in Charlotte and EuroMotors. Performance sent me a quote day after I called and have been very responsive so I booked for work next week. I am in Winston so about same distance.

In Euro's defense, they replied a week later and apologized. Said my email got lost in a busy week.

But seriously, would love a private conversation
to compare costs and experiences once my work is done.
