shopping for a 2 or 3 inch lift, see if this setup seems ok...

From EE
All parts are OME

shocks--N107 for front and N108 for the rear
springs--751 for front and 781 for the rear

also the website states that to even out the rear I would need to install a 1" spring spacer

I have a few questions about all of this though:

1, Do I have to replace the shocks to acheive a lift?
2, What option do I have for the front springs so that I would not need to install spring spacers in the rear?

the website claims that the above setup will give me a 3" lift, but I am not set on a 3" lift and woulc be more than happy with 2", what setup would accomplish that

one last thing, total for all parts including rear spring spacers comes to $640 not including shipping, does this seem about right for a 3" lift?

I am open for any and all recomendations

thanks in advance

Here is another web site, where I bought my OME's, there is alot of info to help you. Yes will need to switch shocks for 2 reasons, a little extra length and your's are probably worn out any way and won't handle the stiffer springs. Make sure you replace the steering dampener also.
Do you have a aftermarket bumper and or winch, if so the 751's are a must, if you go lighter on the springs they will drop their height quickly.
I can send you a couple of pictures with the 3" lift if you want to see what it looks like.

Hope you got the pictures, sorry, I didn't pay attention to your first posting as to where you got your information. By the way, what size tirees are you going to be running?
Take care,

the biggest tire I would ever run would probably be around 32, but initially when I lift it I would most likely just use the stock size tire.

265's are only 32.9 and they make such a hugh difference, with there stronger sidewalls.
Take care,

It sounds like you are going to have an excellent ride once lifted - but I would recommend following discomike's advice. I almost ripped a hole in my stock sidewall on Porcupine Rim in Moab last year. A thicker sidewall, and more height, would have made a world of difference on that trail for me.
