The other day I started my Lr3 and I noticed that the it took a little longer to finally crank over and finally when it did it had a rough idle and then I noticed that it started to smell like the car was running a rich fuel mixture so I took a look at the back and there was black smoke. So I turned the car off and then let it sit for a couple seconds and then cranked it over again and this time it had no issues.
Then a couple days after I went to start it and it just kept on trying to turn over but wouldn't so I turned it off and then let is sit again and then cranked it over and it had no issues again. Could this still be a dirty MAF or leaking injectors or crank sensor?
